Diabetic education that empowers and supports

We know that a diabetes diagnosis can be daunting, particularly during pregnancy. That’s why at her, our diabetic educator works with you in a one on one setting, to create a personalised management plan with the insight and assistance of our entire team (Obstetric medicine physicians, dieticians, obstetricians, gynaecologists, midwives and nurses included).

Our goal, to provide you with the support, insight and confidence required to self-manage your diabetes; with the assurance that help is always available as you need it.

Support Through Pregnancy, Postpartum & Hormonal Changes

Gestational diabetes can feel like a lot to take in, especially when you’re already navigating the physical and emotional shifts of pregnancy. Our pregnancy and prenatal dietitians work closely with your diabetic educator to help you understand nutrition, glucose patterns and lifestyle choices that support both you and your baby. The goal is steady, informed care… not strict rules or unnecessary stress.

After birth, your needs may change again. Our postpartum nutritionist and postnatal dietitian help guide you through those early months as your body recalibrates, offering practical nutrition support that aligns with your energy levels, breastfeeding goals (if relevant), and hormonal transitions.

We also support women managing PCOS, peri-menopause, menopause and fertility concerns, with specialists such as our PCOS, fertility and hormone dietitian, and menopausal nutritionist. Because diabetes and hormonal health often intersect, this collaborative model helps you feel understood, rather than overwhelmed. At Her Health, we also have physicians and psychologists to help you on your journey.
