FAQs
- How can hypnobirthing training help me prepare for birth?
Hypnobirthing training helps you understand the birth process while giving you practical tools to support calm and confidence during labour.
This may include breathing techniques, guided relaxation, mindset work, partner support strategies and tools to reduce fear or tension. Tanya’s background in mindset mentoring means her approach places equal focus on emotional readiness and practical preparation, helping women feel steady and supported as birth approaches. - Are hypnobirthing classes only for women who want a certain type of birth?
Not at all. Hypnobirthing is not about controlling how birth unfolds.
It is about helping you feel more informed, grounded and emotionally prepared, no matter what your birth experience looks like. For many women, that sense of calm confidence is the most valuable part of the process.
- What makes Tanya’s approach different?
Tanya brings together mindset mentoring, hypnotherapy, NLP, meditation, yoga and body-based wellbeing experience. Her sessions tend to feel warm, practical and deeply supportive, especially for women who recognise that birth preparation is not just physical, but also mental and emotional.
- Can Tanya help if I feel anxious or fearful about birth?
Yes. Many women seek hypnobirthing support because they feel anxious, uncertain or fearful about labour and birth.
Tanya’s experience supporting women with anxiety, overwhelm and emotional patterns allows her to help you build a calmer internal foundation, so you feel more steady and supported as birth approaches. - Do you offer private hypnobirthing support in Adelaide?
Her Health offers Tanya’s hypnobirthing support from its North Adelaide clinic, supporting women seeking private hypnobirthing in Adelaide.
If you are looking for more personalised guidance, Her Health can help you access the most suitable way to work with Tanya alongside obstetrics, gynaecology, physician and dietitian services within the clinic. - Is hypnobirthing useful if this is not my first baby?
Yes. Some women explore hypnobirthing during their first pregnancy, while others come to it after a previous birth experience that felt overwhelming or not how they had hoped.
For many women, a subsequent pregnancy is actually when they feel most ready to focus on mindset, confidence and emotional preparation. - Can mindset mentoring support more than birth preparation?
Yes. Tanya’s work extends well beyond hypnobirthing.
Women may see her for support with stress, confidence, emotional regulation, habit change, trauma, phobias, fears and negative self-talk. Her approach is designed to support lasting change, not just preparation for a single moment. - Where is Tanya based?
Tanya practises at Her Health in North Adelaide.
Her work sits within a broader women-centred model of care, supporting women who are seeking hypnobirthing guidance or a more holistic mindset-based approach to birth preparation.
