Sophie Lomax

Meet Sophie, her Registered Midwife.
Sophie is a Registered Midwife with five years’ experience supporting women and families through pregnancy, birth, and the postnatal period. She graduated from the University of South Australia in 2020 and has worked at Calvary North Adelaide Hospital since graduation, with previous experience in rehabilitation nursing.

Sophie has a particular interest in newborn care and is passionate about empowering women during one of the most vulnerable times in their lives. She values creating a safe, welcoming environment where families feel supported and informed throughout their journey.

Sophie is drawn to the strong sense of community at her, where continuity of care extends from the clinic to the hospital and beyond. She enjoys being part of a team that walks alongside families every step of the way.

Known for her honest, loyal, and passionate approach, Sophie is committed to providing compassionate, family-centred care.

When she’s not at her, Sophie enjoys walking, Pilates, baking sourdough and working on jigsaw puzzles.
