Hannah Bell

Registered Midwife and Team Leader

Meet Hannah, her Midwife and Team Leader.

Hannah is a positive and upbeat addition to the her team. She can also be described as kind and caring.

Specialising in antenatal education and postnatal support, Hannah is passionate about educating women, their families and offering support around pregnancy, labour, birth, the postnatal period and caring for newborns. She understands that every situation is unique and calls for a tailored approach to care. She aims to provide a safe environment in which women feel they can share their worries and concerns; in the hopes of supporting and empowering them on their journeys into motherhood.

A graduate of Flinders University, Hannah has previously worked as a rotational midwife in the Lyell McEwin Hospital’s antenatal and postnatal wards, birth centre, high-risk birthing ward, special care nursery and women’s assessment unit. She has completed the Prescribing for Midwives Course through Griffith University and is looking forward to becoming an endorsed midwife in the near future. Hannah was also nominated for Still Aware’s 2020 Midwife of the Year Award by one of her happy patients!

When not at her, Hannah enjoys cooking and cycling. She also loves to spend time with her two beautiful boys whom she says, inspire and teach her new things every day (as well as keeping her on her toes)!
