Amie Harper

Meet Amie, her Practice Manager. 

Unofficially titled “Mumma Hen” here at her, Amie is at her happiest when knee-deep in administration. Amie also enjoys the energy and vibe of the her workplace and the friendships that she has built working with such a close team.

As both a woman and a mum with teenage to young adult children, Amie is passionate about women’s health and safety (physically, emotionally and psychologically). Her desire to help people in a medical setting began at a young age after a stint in hospital where a particular nurse made the experience a little more bearable—Amie still remembers her face and name to this day. It was at this very moment Amie knew she wanted to make that difference in other people’s lives.  

Having enjoyed a career in healthcare spanning some 25 years, Amie has worn many hats working across pharmacy, general practice and the specialist space. Her areas of specialisation include people management and administration. She is also a Certified Practice Manager AAPM, has a Diploma in Practice Management and is currently completing a Double Diploma in Human Resource Management and Leadership and Management.

When not at her (or studying), Amie enjoys weight training at the gym in the very early hours of the morning, smothering her dogs whether they like it or not, reading and spending time with her partner and kids.
